Mark Beukes brings over 30 years of leadership experience in mining, transport, and automotive industries. As the General Manager of African Chrome Fields, he oversees operations across mining, beneficiation, and logistics. His wide-ranging background includes managing complex commercial vehicle networks, restructuring businesses, and driving performance turnarounds in Southern Africa.

With a hands-on, approachable leadership style and deep industry insights, Mark plays a key role in delivering operational efficiency and business growth within ACF's chrome mining operations. His vast experience and commitment to excellence continue to guide the company's success in the mining sector.

Salim Ahmed Bobat is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over three decades of experience in financial management, auditing, and corporate governance. As Financial Director of African Chrome Fields, Salim oversees all financial operations, ensuring strategic planning, compliance, and robust financial controls to support ACF’s growth and sustainability in Zimbabwe’s mining sector.

Salim holds a BCom degree from the University of Durban Westville, an Honours BCompt from Unisa, and a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Witwatersrand. He is also a registered Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Before joining ACF, Salim spent 15 years in private practice, auditing diverse organisations from small businesses to large corporates, as well as government departments and municipalities. He later took on senior financial leadership roles, where he contributed to complex financial transactions, including structuring a transaction that led to the listing of a company on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange's main board.

With his meticulous attention to detail and deep expertise in finance, Salim ensures ACF’s financial integrity and contributes to the company’s mission of operational excellence and economic development in Zimbabwe. His leadership continues to be instrumental in driving the financial success of ACF’s chrome mining operations.

Tariq Sayed brings extensive expertise in financial management and operations, currently leading the financial operations at African Chrome Fields in Zimbabwe. With a BCompt degree in Financial Accounting from the University of South Africa and a BCom Honours from Regent Business School, he has a strong foundation in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.

 

Since joining the Moti Group in 2017, he has progressed to overseeing all financial aspects of ACF’s chrome mining operations. Taariq’s hands-on approach ensures close collaboration with his teams, playing a pivotal role in cashflow management, financial projections, and structuring offtake agreements. His ability to engage with auditors, coordinate payments, and provide key insights to shareholders makes him a vital asset to the company.

Temeka Smith is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa with a BA LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand. With a career dedicated to providing exceptional legal services, she has extensive experience in case management, client representation, and team leadership.
